It was a simple yet stunning dress which needed to fit like a glove- unfortunately the dress and strap length were too long and it fit awkwardly. This is where Lisa came in! She pinned the dressed in place and made sure I was comfortable with the adjustments and kept asking for my feedback along the way. She is an incredibly warm and funny person and I felt so at ease.

“Lisa made a number of alterations needed to my wedding dress. I found the perfect dress but the straps were far too long and I also wanted a small crystal studded belt to be added.
The straps were a special type of lace with a shimmery chiffon overlay and the straps formed part of one continual piece covering the whole dress, so not an easy task! Lisa took this on and did a wonderful job. She took extra special care and attention, even looking into the type of lace to make sure she’d considered everything she needed to. It took Lisa only a week to make the alterations and stitch the small belt. She was professional throughout and really flexible with timings for fittings. I couldn’t have asked for a friendly person and so pleased I found her to do the work on my special dress.
Lisa also made alterations to my nieces bridesmaid dress, which needed shortening by quite a bit! My niece lives in Australia so had a very tight turnaround between her arriving in the UK and then the wedding. Lisa made herself available as soon as she was needed and calmed me down about it all . Although it seemed simple taking the dress up, it was double layered with a chiffon overlay so quite complicated.
Both dresses were absolutely perfect and fitted perfectly on the day. I’m so pleased I found Lisa and would highly recommend to anyone!”
